National Campaign for Prevention and Protection from Congenital Heart Diseases for Students
Is a campaign through which we work to conduct a set of medical examinations in order to discover cases of congenital heart defects among our students, and to carry out awareness campaigns about the dangers of congenital heart diseases and how to prevent them, by doing the following
The launch of the national campaign (Prevention and Protection) for congenital heart diseases to conduct free medical examinations to ensure the safety of the heart from congenital deformities for more than (1,000,000) male and female students in all schools of the country is considered the first of its kind locally, Arab, international and global. It will also include lectures, seminars and awareness meetings about the risks of congenital heart diseases and how to prevent them, conduct training courses and provide medical consultations. The examinations include the following:
- Measuring weight and height.
- Measuring blood pressure.
- Measuring body fat percentage.
- Measuring blood sugar level.
- Measuring blood oxygen level.
- Electrocardiography (ECG).
- Heart imaging using ultrasound (sonar).
- Determining the likelihood of congenital heart disease.

It was founded on 31/1/1983, and its international recognition as a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

The Emirates Congenital Heart Disease Society is a community initiative established in 2019. It is the first public benefit organization dedicated to individuals facing the challenges of congenital heart diseases and their families.
Providing care and empowerment for individuals affected by congenital heart diseases and their families, as well as educating and raising awareness within the community about congenital heart diseases.
